(Man-Portable Interoperable Tactical Operations Center)
MITOCTM is a portable communications platform that provides the same capabilities of a mobile command post without the high cost, complexity or hard-mounted features. Developed by a consortium of universities, first responders, and communications subject matter experts with decades of combined experience; MITOC is intended to be an affordable “first on scene” communications solution to support first responders in the early hours of an event. It can also link to larger assets as they arrive later in the incident timeline to provide backup support or supplemental communications capabilities.
